How Much Do You Charge for Bandwidth Overage?

At NovoServe, we offer different types of metered bandwidth plans to suit various needs. The cost of overage depends on the billing model your server uses.

For Data Traffic Plans (Billed per TB)

For our standard metered plans, which are based on total data volume, any traffic that exceeds your included monthly data bundle is billed as an overage.

  • Overage Rate: €1.00 per TB (1024 GB) of egress (outgoing) traffic.

  • Ingress Traffic: All ingress (incoming) traffic is free of charge and does not count toward your bundle.

Our servers utilize the 95th percentile billing method. This is the industry standard for fair and flexible bandwidth billing.

How to Avoid Overage Fees Entirely

The best way to achieve maximum billing security and avoid any possibility of overage fees is to choose an unmetered (flat fee) server. This gives you a dedicated port with a guaranteed speed and completely unlimited traffic for a fixed monthly price.
