What Is Your IP Address Allocation Policy?

NovoServe assigns IP addresses distributed by regional internet registries (RIRs) like RIPE, ARIN, and APNIC directly to our dedicated server customers. We enforce a strict allocation framework to comply with global registry restrictions and ensure network stability.

Standard IPv4 Address Allocation

Global IPv4 exhaustion requires responsible conservation and fair distribution across all networks. By default, you can conveniently order a /29 subnet (8 IPs) directly through the NovoServe webshop alongside your bare metal deployment. This standard allocation provides sufficient routing capacity for the vast majority of server workloads.

 Need More IPv4 Subnet? 

If it possible you might need more than a /29 subnet. If your infrastructure demands higher IP density—such as a proxy platform, VPN provider, or extensive virtualization environment—you can request up to a /27 subnet (32 IPs) per dedicated server. Approved larger subnets incur an additional monthly fee.

 IPv6 Address Allocation 

IPv6 is the modern routing standard engineered to resolve IPv4 scarcity. To future-proof your infrastructure, NovoServe provides IPv6 transit entirely free of charge. Every dedicated server client can request a maximum of a /48 IPv6 block per dedicated server. Contact our sales team to provision your IPv6 space.

 Bring Your Own IP (BYOIP) 

If you already own registered IP space, our BYOIP service provides the most scalable, cost-effective routing solution for large enterprises and hosting resellers.
