Verifalia
Verifalia builds its European email verification SaaS infrastructure on NovoServe bare metal servers, gaining sub-10ms latency and direct AMS-IX connectivity.
Verification tool built on bare metal
"Verifalia is an email verification SaaS company serving more than 100,000 clients worldwide as of January 2026, helping businesses determine the deliverability of email addresses," says Efran Cobisi, CTO of Verifalia. The platform includes a web app for uploading and verifying mailing lists, a developer API with free and open-source SDKs, and a free embeddable widget that lets websites block invalid or undeliverable email addresses as users type them into contact or registration forms โ no coding required.
Verifalia's roots go back further than email verification itself. Founded in 2005 as part of the Italian company Cobisi Research โ an organization already known for building popular developer tools within the Microsoft .NET and Visual Studio ecosystem โ Verifalia was shaped early on by its founder, Efran Cobisi, a former Microsoft MVP, software architect, author, and speaker.
Then, in 2012, came the pivot that defined the company: it shifted its full focus to Verifalia and became the first email verification provider to introduce a proprietary artificial intelligence layer into the verification process. "That innovation helped establish Verifalia as one of the world's leading email verification services, earning the trust of email marketers and developers who value its accuracy, speed, and reliability," Cobisi says.
An infrastructure that scales
A platform promising real-time accuracy at global scale needs infrastructure to match. Verifalia runs its verification infrastructure across multiple locations worldwide, and in the Netherlands, that means NovoServe's dedicated servers โ chosen for their performance and their direct connection to AMS-IX, one of the world's busiest internet exchanges, which helps ensure fast connectivity between Europe, the USA, and the UK.
The decision wasn't purely technical, though. "NovoServe's friendly and helpful customer service team was also part of the reason Verifalia chose NovoServe," Cobisi adds โ a reminder that infrastructure decisions come down to the people behind them just as much as the specs on paper. For a lean engineering team supporting a platform used by 100,000-plus clients, having a hosting partner who responds quickly and understands the stakes isn't a nice-to-have. It's part of the uptime guarantee itself.

Quote from Verifalia
"We chose NovoServe not only for the quality of their bare metal servers, but also for the people behind them: their infrastructure delivers the performance and connectivity we need, with direct access to AMS-IX, while their team is knowledgeable, approachable, and always ready to help whenever we need support." - Efran Cobisi, Verifalia

Bare metal built for speed
Email verification is a real-time business, where every millisecond of latency ripples out to clients relying on Verifalia to protect their sender reputation. That reality shaped Verifalia's search for a bare metal partner. "We always look for partners with technicians who are well-prepared, who understand our technical challenges, and who genuinely care about our success: at the end of the day, their success depends on ours, too," Cobisi says. That philosophy shaped Verifalia's requirements: strong security and performance from the dedicated infrastructure, and full compliance with global data protection regulations โ non-negotiable for a company processing email data across dozens of countries.
That search led Verifalia to a bare metal deployment with NovoServe that now handles a substantial share of its European verification workload. "We chose bare metal for most of our email verification infrastructure to improve processing speed," Cobisi says. "Our deployment with NovoServe delivers the performance we expected, and its network connectivity is among the best we've seen from any bare metal provider."
That performance shows in the numbers: round-trip latency of less than 10 ms to Verifalia's primary data centers in Frankfurt and Falkenstein, Germany โ the low-latency backbone that keeps requests moving at the speed clients expect, whether checking a single address in real time or processing a mailing list of millions.
A partner to count on
Good infrastructure should be invisible โ it should simply work, without anyone on the team having to think twice about it. That's what Verifalia has found with NovoServe. "Our bare metal deployment with NovoServe delivers the performance we need and is an important part of our infrastructure in Europe," Cobisi says. That reliability frees Verifalia's engineering team to focus on what actually differentiates the platform: verification accuracy, AI-driven detection, and the developer experience around its API and SDKs.
"We've been very happy with our partnership with NovoServe," he says, "and see them as a reliable partner we can count on."
