NovoServe Cloud Connect Solutions
Save Costs by Connecting Public Cloud Providers (AWS) and NovoServe Dedicated Servers
Nearly 70% of enterprises now rely on hybrid cloud architectures to balance managed services with dedicated server raw computing power. However, moving data out of public clouds remains very costly. NovoServe Cloud Connect solves this by providing secure, fast, and cost-effective private connectivity directly to public cloud providers, starting with Amazon Web Services (AWS). This routing service is an add-on service of your existing NovoServe dedicated servers.
By establishing a direct, physical link between the AWS backbone and our enterprise infrastructure, we bypass the public internet. This lets AWS customers to drastically lower the exorbitant costs of extracting data from the cloud to $0,02 per GB, making high-bandwidth hybrid deployments financially viable. You achieve the operational elasticity of AWS combined with the raw, unmetered processing power of our bare metal servers.
We deliver this dedicated routing service with connection speeds of 1Gbps and 10Gbps, utilizing diverse paths between NovoServe data centers and AWS facilities. Whether you are running complex database replications, hybrid cloud backups, or massive media processing pipelines, Cloud Connect ensures your data moves securely and affordably.

Save on public cloud fees
NovoServe Cloud Connect is designed for enterprises running intensive hybrid workloads that move massive data, need high-bandwidth ports, and stable network performance & strict data security. By connecting your dedicated servers directly with public cloud hyperscalers, you can enjoy the below benefits.
Egress Savings
Routing your traffic through a private link reduces your AWS data transfer out fees. Standard AWS egress rates start at $0.09 per GB, but a Direct Connect setup lowers this baseline rate to just $0.02 per GB. You immediately capture massive savings on data-heavy transfers.
Unshared bandwidth
Gain guaranteed throughput for your hybrid workloads. We provision dedicated 1Gbps or 10Gbps unmetered port speeds for your Cloud Connect. Your bare metal infrastructure operates perfectly without any hidden fair-use caps, or restrictive traffic shaping.
Enhanced security
Your sensitive data never touches the expensive and unpredictable public internet. By utilizing a private carrier link, your traffic is shielded from public routing vulnerabilities and DDoS attacks, ensuring compliance for financial and healthcare workloads.
Guaranteed speeds
Public routing features latency spikes and packet loss during peak hours. Our private direct connections bypass these public exchanges, delivering highly reliable, low-latency transit that keeps your hybrid applications running smoothly.
Cheap bandwidth
Getting data out of AWS is expensive, but distributing it from NovoServe is incredibly cheap. Once your data reaches our network, you pay a fraction of public cloud ratesโsuch as โฌ35 for 100TB, which equals a microscopic โฌ0.00035 per GB compared to standard AWS fees.
Hybrid performance
Seamlessly bridge the elastic managed services of public hyperscalers with the raw, single-tenant processing power of our bare metal hardware. You avoid hypervisor overhead and noisy neighbor syndrome, dedicating 100% of CPU cycles and NVMe IOPS to your actual workloads.
Stable network
Back your hybrid architecture with serious network capacity. Our infrastructure connects directly to an 19+ Tbps global backbone, heavily multihomed across premium Tier-1 carriers and peering exchanges to handle massive data spikes without introducing bottlenecks or artificial speed limits.Ultra-low latency
Completely bypass congested public internet exchanges during peak hours. We transport data directly from NL-IX straight to our Tier III ISO-certified data centers, achieving near-instant transmission speeds between your active AWS instances and our bare metal server processing nodes.

How Cloud Connect works
NovoServe Cloud Connect links your bare metal directly to a hyperscale cloud provider's backbone. We establish a private link to AWS Direct Connect, completely bypassing the public internet to reduce your data transfer costs. We deliver this routing service from NL-IX directly to your server's network interface. NovoServeโs Cloud Connect initially provides private connectivity exclusively to AWS, with integrations for Azure ExpressRoute and Google Cloud Interconnect planned for the future.

NovoServe network strengths
A private cloud link is only as powerful as the network it terminates on. NovoServe operates a massive global network with over 19 Tbps of total capacity in the USA, the Netherlands, and Denmark, multihomed across 10+ premium Tier-1 carriers. When you pull data out of AWS via Cloud Connect, it lands on an infrastructure designed for ultimate scale. We maintain extensive presence at major internet exchanges like AMS-IX and NL-IX, ensuring that once your data is processed on our bare metal, it reaches your end-users globally with minimal latency. Compared to standard budget hosting providers that suffer from congestion, our intelligent Noction-optimized routing automatically selects the fastest path, ensuring your hybrid setup never experiences a network bottleneck.

Questions about bare metal Cloud Connect
Everything you need to know before setting up the direct Cloud Connect between your hyperscaler cloud, AWS, and NovoServe dedicated servers.
What are the benefits of using NovoServe Cloud Connect?
The primary benefits are massive cost reductions on data transfer, enhanced security by bypassing the public internet, and highly predictable network performance. You eliminate the latency spikes of public routing while securing your hybrid architecture. The public cloud egress fees of AWS starts with $0,09 per GB, and with NovoServe Cloud Connect, it can be lowered to $0,02 per GB.
When should I use Cloud Connect to link my dedicated servers and public cloud?
You should use Cloud Connect whenever you regularly transfer large volumes of data from AWS to external servers, such as for backup repositories, database replication, or media processing. It is financially critical when public internet egress fees outpace the cost of a private port.
When should I use Cloud Connect to link my dedicated servers and public cloud?
You save on egress fees by utilizing a private direct connection instead of public internet routing. For example, AWS charges roughly $0.09 per GB for standard internet egress, but routing that same data over a private Direct Connect link drops the fee to $0.02 per GB.
As an alternative, you can also directly go for dedicated servers instead of public cloud. With NovoServe, you pay โฌ35 for 100TB, which is around โฌ0,00035 per GB compared to the standard AWS fees. You can also go for unmetered bandwidth options, which is even more affordable and financially controllable.
Do you support direct Cloud Connect with Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud?
We currently only support private connectivity to Amazon Web Services (AWS). We plan to add support for Microsoft Azure ExpressRoute and Google Cloud Interconnect in future infrastructure updates.
How much does NovoServe Cloud Connect cost?
The service is billed as a flat monthly rate based on port capacity. A 1Gbps dedicated Cloud Connect port costs โฌ950 per month, while a massive 10Gbps port is priced at โฌ3.900 per month. A 12-month contract is required. You no longer pay for any bandwidth costs in relation to AWS. AWS does charge a small fee of โฌ0,02 per GB for egress in addition.
Do you manage BGP sessions with AWS or Azure or Google Cloud?
No, the connection is delivered directly to the customer's dedicated server hosted by NovoServe. AWS uses BGP to share routing information, but NovoServe does not manage or assist with these BGP details. It is entirely up to the customer to configure BGP with AWS; we strictly transport the traffic from NL-IX to your server.
Why should I combine my public cloud with NovoServe's bare metal services?
Combining NovoServe bare metal with public cloud gives you the best of both worlds. You retain the elastic, managed services of AWS while leveraging our unmetered dedicated servers for heavy data processing, effectively eliminating public cloud bandwidth costs.
Is incoming traffic from AWS to NovoServe free?
Yes, all ingress traffic to your NovoServe dedicated servers is completely free of charge. You only pay for your Cloud Connect port capacity, making our servers highly cost-effective targets for large-scale AWS data offloading.
Can I aggregate my Cloud Connect bandwidth across multiple servers?
Yes, we offer 95th percentile aggregated billing for fleets of servers. You can share your Cloud Connect bandwidth pool across multiple bare metal nodes within our data centers, optimizing your infrastructure spend.
