The department

We service customers from all industries in need or looking for a better way to host and run their business online. 
As we grow our footprint in the Global Market, we are looking for new colleagues to make our Sales team stronger and respond to the current demand for hosting and infrastructure, helping our customer grow to the next level, and grow with them.

Core function

As an Account Manager you are responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
This involves understanding client needs, addressing concerns, and ensuring that the company meets or exceeds client expectations.

You will also be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities within existing accounts.
In addition, you will be involved in pitching products or services to potential customers and negotiating contracts.
Developing account plans to outline strategies for growing revenue, expanding the client base, and increasing profitability is a crucial aspect of an account manager’s role.

In this position you often collaborate with various internal departments such as sales, marketing, and product development to ensure seamless communication and alignment on client needs and objectives.

Furthermore, you are working on

  • Post Sales Customer Support (commercial): you have to address client inquiries promptly, resolve issues efficiently, and ensure that clients receive the necessary assistance.
  • Reporting and Analysis: monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing sales data, and preparing reports are common tasks for account managers to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Contract Management: our Account Managers are typically responsible for managing contracts with clients, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions, and negotiating contract renewals as needed.

This is where you recognize yourself

As an Account Manager, you are in frequent contact with customers. Your good communication skills enable you to build and maintain strong relationships. For this you also need good organizational and negotiation skills. You are customer & service-oriented, problem-solving and analytical. You can also work well under pressure, independently and within the team. In addition, you have:

  • a bachelor's degree or equivalent required;
  • 3+ years experience in sales and account management;
  • knowledge about the hosting industry is a plus;
  • fluent in written and spoken English and Dutch. It is nice if you can also speak other relevant languages;
  • sales acumen.
