Requirements for Using the Server Builder
To start using the Server Builder, the following prerequisites must be met:
- Reseller Contract: A signed agreement grants access to the Server Builder and its reseller benefits.
- KYB/KYC Verification: NovoServe verifies the entity details of all resellers to ensure secure and transparent partnerships.
- Account Activation: Activation will be coordinated with your account manager.
- Prepayment: Instant delivery requires immediate payment of invoices.
How the Server Builder Works?
In this user story, we will be ordering three HP G8 servers with 10Gbps unlimited bandwidth. They will be available for installation within 15 minutes.
Access the Portal
Step 1 is to click on he server builder from the portal.
Filter Configurations
Next step is to choose a base configuration. NovoServes has a lot of serverds in stock and therefore you can reduce the options by choosing memory, cpu, storage filters
Choose a Chassis
For our use case, we filter the chassis to a HP DL360P G8. This reduces the amount of base configs.
Select a Base Config
In our user story, we want three (identical) servers. Therefor we select a base that has 11 servers available and click configure.
Customize Bandwidth
NovoServe has a lot of bandwidth options available. With our Base config, we can select up to 20Gbps and we choose the 10Gbps unlimited.
Place the Order
Our customer wants three servers and we can simply select this. We select the number of servers and click on the place order button.
Review the Order
After editing the options and clicking on order, you can review the order. When you are satisfied, click on Checkout and start the delivery to your customer.
