Primarily aimed at our resellers, the Server Builder offers the tools you need to deliver servers to customers.

NovoServe aims to be able to deliver servers built to order as fast as possible, which is usually the next working day (depending on parts). We aim to deliver the optimal fit for the use case of our customers. This can be servers for compute, storage, streaming, etc.

Because there are a lot of different applications, we have a lot of servers in stock. What if we could use all that stock to deliver servers even faster, but without the customization? That is where Server Builder comes in. When you select a server in stock, it will be available very soon to you and your customer.

Server Builder is much more than only a delivery tool. Before a server is added to the available stock, it is tested. Memory, processor and available addon cards are registered. Due to this automated process we are able to service our customers much faster.

Delivery

Around the clock delivery: 24x7

With server builder, there is no manual delivery and this allows customers to scale up their server at any moment. This can be on a Sunday morning at 4am or any different day. It allows resellers to serve their customers when they need it.

Speedy delivery

Most importantly, servers are delivered within 15 minutes. This saves a lot of time, waiting time, communication time and will allow you to start billing your customers earlier.

Full remote access

Thanks to the full remote access and our high quality servers, customers can install any software and configuration as they see fit. No remote assistance is needed and no waiting for assistance from an engineer or placement of a “spider”. As soon as the server is delivered, customers can get straight to work and start working.

Customization gives growth

The good news is, we still allow changes to servers. Servers do not need to keep their original configuration. You can (when technically possible) upgrade memory and storage as needed. You can start with a server with 64GB memory via Server Builder and when your application grows, you can upgrade the memory easily to 128GB. Of course we will need a service window, but your server will keep running almost uninterrupted. Easy vertical scaling for your customer and their applications.

Prerequisites

Reseller contract

We need a signed agreement for resellers to start using the Server Builder. With a reseller agreement, you have the opportunity to enjoy all our reseller benefits. With Server Builder, resellers will be able to grow much faster. Contact your favorite account manager to get this paperwork done.

KYB/KYC

Before we can work together, we will do a check to confirm your entity and verify some details. Know your customers is an important process in these dynamic times.

Active

We will need to set activate you in our administrative systems. This can be done in cooperation with an account manager.

Prepayment

Keep in mind that instant delivery means server invoices have to be done immediateley.  

Workflow

In this user story, we will be ordering three HP G8 servers with 10Gbps unlimited bandwidth. They will be available for installation within 15 minutes.

Server Builder

Step 1 is to click on he server builder from the portal.

Filtering

Next step is to choose a base configuration. NovoServes has a lot of serverds in stock and therefore you can reduce the options by choosing memory, cpu, storage filters

Chassis filter

For our use case, we filter the chassis to a HP DL360P G8. This reduces the amount of base configs.

Select base config

In our user story, we want three (identical) servers. Therefor we select a base that has 11 servers available and click configure.

Bandwidth

NovoServe has a lot of bandwidth options available. With our Base config, we can select up to 20Gbps and we choose the 10Gbps unlimited.

Create an order

Our customer wants three servers and we can simply select this. We select the number of servers and click on the place order button.

Review order

After editing the options and clicking on order, you can review the order. When you are satisfied, click on Checkout and start the delivery to your customer.
